The function

The world is changing at a never-seen rapid pace, driven by technology progress, changing consumer behaviours and current societal and political context (new security threat, change in demographics, migration…). The Security industry is no exception to this general trend and is affected by various trends. Securitas has the ambition to lead the security industry by offering a full set of protective services combining Technology, People and Knowledge. 
To reach our ambitions, we have heavily invested over the last years in:

  • Developing our technology and safety offering, via diverse acquisitions.
  • Entering new markets, such as Police, Defense and the consumer space (Securitas Home).
  • Installing a new ERP system.

 

All these investments are paying off, with strong growth achieved by our different Business Units and support units. To further implement its strategy, Securitas now needs to “connect” those different entities and improve cross-departmental collaboration and synergies.

 

The leadership team has thus decided to invest in a transversal and central Process Excellence team in charge of identifying, designing and implementing different end to end processes together with the business owners.

We are therefore looking for a Process and Project expert to reinforce our team. Hereby you can find a short overview of your tasks:

  • Take the lead in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives within Securitas, including:
    • Establishing the project approach and charter in collaboration with the business owner, to define and monitor the project's scope, objectives, deadlines, budget and risks.
    • Making up a project team with internal and/or external colleagues, in order to achieve the project objective.
    • Analyse and formalize existing processes and highlight current pain points and opportunities for improvements.
    • Develop a business case for the project and ensure buy-in from key stakeholders.
    • Challenge existing team and define new ways of working/processes.
    • Define together with the business owner the implementation plan and change management plan.
    • Participating actively in the implementation of a project, proposing adequate solutions, supervising, validating and giving back to all aspects of the project, in order to satisfy the organizational requirements, methodology and quality standards.
    • In collaboration with your team, you succeed in optimizing our services.
  • You promote process thinking within the organization and be the ambassador of the Process Excellence team within the organization.
  • You coach junior profiles and colleagues form other departments in project management and process optimization.

Your profile

  • You hold a Master's degree.
  • You have 5 years of experience in a consultancy/corporate environment implementing changes through process optimization.
  • You have a very good knowledge of process management and process reengineering.
  • You are experienced in documenting processes using tools such as Visio and process modelling tools in a variety of business process modelling notations.
  • You have minimum five years of experience in project management.
  • You have excellent planification capacities & stakeholders management.
  • You are able to analyse and summarise.
  • You have excellent communication skills: ability to collate and present information and data to a range of audiences from operational colleagues to Board level.
  • You are able to easily develop strong relationships, gaining the support and commitment required to implement a project.
  • You are able to work in a moving and transformation environment.
  • You are a team player with a change driver mentality.
