HR Business Partner

General information

As an HR BP you are the partner and challenger for the business as well as the other HR departments. You will be part of a team of three HRBP's.

Tasks: you 

  • support the business to realize the business unit strategy, in line with overall HR strategy & programs. You provide input & advise in all HR related matters. You represent HR at the business table & manage the relationship between HR and business decision makers. 

  • build a strategic workforce planning and manage the talent strategy (career paths, talent review and succession planning). 

  • analyze trends and anticipate needed change (organization, culture, employee satisfaction, absenteeism, …).

  • make sure that HR policies are understood and applied. 

  • support the HR Director by advising on all HR matters related to the involved business unit, by providing insights, designing HR solutions that meet business needs and by adequately implementing HR processes & programs within the business unit.

What are you going to do ?

Working with the HR departments: 

  • Recruitment: build the interface between the respective business unit and recruitment and bring proactivity through workforce planning. 

  • Internal Mobility: identify candidates in an ongoing way through yearly cross business unit talent reviews. 

  • Talent Management: Make sure that appropriate succession planning is set up for critical positions and that the Leadership development is in line with this. 

  • People issues: support line management and liaise with the Labor Relations department

  • Retention: operate exit interviews, make root cause analysis and advise on retention

What are our expectations?

  • You have a Master's degree or are equivalent by experience and have a track record of 3 to 10 years’ experience in a generalist or HR BP role. 

  • You are proactive, curious, stress-resistant, a real team player and have a problem solving mentality. 

  • You are a fluent in Dutch and French with good knowledge of English. 

  • You have a sound knowledge of social relations matters and labour law. 

  • You are able to engage, influence and have impact, listen and communicate effectively.

  • You can take a long-term view and understand the implications of people related decisions
